Hi All,

I've been on this list since the middle of last year.

I've spent most of the past 6 years doing AI research. My focus is on
understanding and achieving (seeding) *general* intelligence in machines.
I'm not affiliated with any institution or company.

I host regular (almost weekly) dinner discussion meetings in Marina del Rey.
We're a bunch of futurists/ Extropians interested in extreme longevity, AI,
the Singularity, etc.

For those of you in SoCal (or those ever visiting) perhaps you want to join
us sometime.
