I think it won't be hard to create an AI that can move fluidly back and
forth
between conceptual math and calculator-ish math. For this reason, an AI of
equal general intelligence to a human should be far superior at mathematics.
At least
until we get calculator neurochips, which is probably 20-30 years off I
guess.
