I don't strongly disagree with your judgment here, Eliezer.

However, my view based on a few quick browses through the site is that the
Mentifex project is actually more interesting, and contains better ideas,
than a lot of mainstream AI projects.

Unfortunately, though, the claims that its creator makes for it are far out
of proportion to its actual achievements.

If anyone has time to carefully read the Mentifex design docs, and/or run
the program and fiddle with it, I'd be interested to hear your report. I
don't have that kind of free time myself...
