It seems to me that groupminds are already here, and that the future
technology that enhances the links between them will come in waves
with different capabilities.

Since what you're specifically thinking of is a group of minds that
can natively exchange /thoughts/, I'd suggest making the name specific
to the idea of thought.

So perhaps a thought-collective, thought-share, thought-net, or
(whimsically) a thoughtster.
