Because Brian Atkins is the Chief Executive Officer of the Singularity
Institute, and Tyler Emerson is its Executive Director and the person who
currently seems to be taking charge of the website.
Of course, in this case I *wrote* the offending material, so I cannot evade
all that much responsibility - but yes, there are now things on the SIAI
website that I did not write and that may be there because they are
consistent with someone else's current position, not my past ones.
