People are such sticklers these days.

(I know this from experience; I was shunted off to a trade school at 12
because of my evident stupidity and refusal to concentrate on parsing
Latin. Took me years, nay decades, of sideways finagling to get through to
a PhD, although the last stretch was all done on a healthy scholarship that
enabled me to buy my first house; my dissertation resulted in three solemn
scholarly books. Don't try this at home, kids.)
