Hello all,

I found this mailing list through random googling on transhumanism, I hope
that you can help me, and if there's some repository of list etiquette or
what have you, please do point me there so I can play by the rules.

I am planning to get my PhD in Neuroscience and Marine Biology so that I can
study cuttlefish. I'm sure I don't have to tell anyone here how fascinating
cuttlefish are, their neurobiology is most intriguing and unique and I have
a number of theories that are mostly related to their communication, but
also branch off into territories I am not going to discuss at this juncture,
I want to proceed much further in my research and actually get into working
with them before I start disclosing some of what I suspect.

But in the meanwhile, I use my current school's research databases to track
down cuttlefish studies, but it's always nice to branch out. Can any of you
point me to any interesting research and experiments being done with
cuttlefish, anywhere in the world? I wish to be sure I am not missing
anything. My specific interest is cuttlefish communication, but I'll take
anything you've got about cuttlefish.

Thank you so much!
