Here are some handy dandy definitions that I hope will clear things up.

Volition:
The act or instance of making a choice.
Choice:
An act or instance of volition.
Decision:
Exercising one’s will.
Will:
Making a decision
Consciousness:
The ability to be aware.
Aware:
The ability to be conscious.
