Exception: Anyone who *knows* the physics may post pointers to basic
reading or, if they have that much time on their hands, post a complete
explanation.
It's the back-and-forth of, "I dunno, do you know, maybe it's XYZ?" that
I'm ruling off-topic. You've got essentially no hope of getting physics
right by accident. Also, the basic topic is peripheral to SL4 so there's
no urgent reason to guess if you don't know.
